Appalachian Clubhouse Wedding
It’s time for your Gatlinburg wedding photographer to let you in on one of our best kept secrets: an Appalachian Clubhouse wedding. You heard me! The Appalachian Clubhouse is rich in beautiful views, but this venue isn’t going to break the bank. I was just there with Ansley and Bryce; let me share our secret with you.
Location
The Appalachian Clubhouse is a 3000 sq ft clubhouse in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It’s right south of Gatlinburg, between the Elkmont Trailhead and Jakes Creek Trailhead. An added bonus? The Clubhouse is right on Jakes Creek and Little River, which makes it a great spot for photos or for recreation.
Amenities for an Appalachian Clubhouse Wedding
If you’re planning an Appalachian Clubhouse wedding, you should know that a rental of the location includes a meeting hall with French doors and two large stone fireplaces, which could be used for either a ceremony or reception. Your reservation is from 10am-8pm, and booking the whole venue is only going to cost you $310.00 per day.
The hall has 12 electrical outlets, 110 folding chairs and tables, as well as a sofa and chairs around the fireplace. A small warming kitchen accommodates catering or other vendors. Accessible bathrooms are in a separate building, about 150 ft away.
Appalachian Clubhouse Wedding Portraits
Now on to the best part, the portraits! I love photographing an Appalachian Clubhouse wedding because there is no end to incredible backdrops here. Can you picture you and the love of your life posing here on the stone bridge? Or wading in a clear creek? It seems like every spot is magical here.
Photos inside the clubhouse won’t disappoint either. Exposed beaming and smooth wood floors create a feeling of home among the forest. For an intimate party, this is a great venue choice.
I don’t see enough couples booking for an Appalachian Clubhouse wedding, but that might change now I’ve let the cat out of the bag! When you’re ready to book your Gatlinburg wedding photographer, reach out!
