As a Gatlinburg wedding photographer I have scouted out dozens of locations throughout the National Park to find the best of the best! No matter what end of the Smokies you are visiting, I have the perfect location for your big day.

Smoky Mountain Views
Foothills Parkway West
For endless views of the Smokies, consider getting married at Foothills Parkways. With 33 miles of parkway to work with there is an abundance of convenient and stunning locations right off the side of the road! I love having a parkway tour with my couples to capture their love story with the dozens of stunning backdrops. Giving your wedding album a variety of views of the Smokies. This scenic route is the perfect place for a sunset session, no matter the season!
This is a location that requires a special use permit.
Cades Cove
Cades Cove is a one way driving loop which provides dozens of stunning backdrops of the Smokies. From forests, fields, creeks, mountain views and even wildlife! You will find everything iconic about the Smoky Mountains at Cades Cove. Although the location is beyond beautiful, be aware that since it is a one way driving loop, Cades Cove is notorious for traffic and congested roads. Plan ahead to ensure your Smoky Mountain wedding is as stress free as possible!
This is a location requires a special use permit.
Greenbrier
On the northern side of the Smokies and just outside of Gatlinburg you will find the magic that is Greenbrier. With three wedding locations to enjoy a serene and glorious ceremony, you are sure to find the perfect spot for your big day. As a Gatlinburg wedding photographer I adore Greenbrier for a dramatic forest backdrop! There are an abundance of backdrops that include rocky rivers, wooden bridges and of course lush woods.
Ely’s Mill
If you are planning to embrace a woodland wedding, then Ely’s Mill is the place for you! Nestled in the woods of the Smokies, Ely’s Mill offers several sites along a creek for intimate wedding ceremonies. In addition, there is a pavilion option that seats up to 20 guests. However, it is important to note that the pavilion can get dark, so this is not an ideal option for an evening ceremony. You can consider saying your vows on the creek bed or on one of the trails, in addition to the pavilion. There is an additional fee for this location, which aids the maintenance of the the Mill.
There is an additional $100 fee for this venue.
Spence Cabin
Escape the hustle and bustle of nearby town and embrace the woods and mountains in Spence Cabin. With outdoor patios, as well as indoor options, you can truly bring your elopement vision to life in this venue! In addition, there are variety of meeting rooms for any size elopement, ranging from 118 to 432 square feet. As well Spence Cabin offers furnishing with 40 folding chairs, four 6-foot diameter round tables, eight 2.5-by-6 foot rectangular tables and six rocking chairs. You can set up this furniture to suit your needs, or you can even bring your own rentals to add a more personal touch!
This venue you will book yourself. On weekdays it is $150, $200 on weekends plus $400 security deposit, which is returned if left the way you found it. I still take care of the officiant!

The Lodge At Brother’s Cove
This elopement location is the best of both worlds! Get the luxury of a resort wedding venue with the stunning views of the Smokies. The venue is on 450-acres and is located in Pigeon Forge, TN. Plenty of room to explore and entertain! In addition, you will have multiple options to fit your wedding day needs. Whether you have everything planned and ready to go, or you are in need of coordination and vendor recommendations. The Lodge at Brother’s Cove is an excellent choice for a Smoky Mountain venue!
This venue you book yourself. The whole (indoor area & gazebo) property rents for $6500. If you’re just interested in renting the outside Gazebo only, that is done in three hour increments for $1500.
