Bleak House Family Photos
Although I am typically in the Smoky Mountains capturing love stories and adventurous elopements as a Gatlinburg photographer. I love getting to travel around Tennessee for all sorts of sessions! And these Bleak House Family photos made the trip to Knoxville more than worth it. Not only is this historic mansion stunning with large windows and old world details. But it also has amazing gardens for outdoor family photos. I can’t wait to share this session and all the reasons you should have your next family photo session at Bleak House.
Bleak House
If you have a hard time fining the Bleak House, then look for it under its new name Confederate Memorial Hall. The home was originally named Bleak House, after the Charles Dickens' 1853 novel. This warm and inviting Tuscany-styled mansion has a rich and interesting history just waiting for you! You can schedule a tour with your family to learn more about the home and take in its outstanding beauty. In addition, it should be noted that if you do want family photos at the Bleak House there will be an additional $50 fee.
Family Photos
The Hayes family scheduled their family photos to take place at the Bleak House, and I am so glad they did! In addition to the history, this home is filled with bright and beautiful backdrops. One of my favorites in the home is a small sun room featuring large arched windows and french doors leading out into the garden. The brick walls have been painted white adding the bright and minimalistic feel of the room.
In addition to the house, the property itself is stunning, especially in the warmer months. The garden is filled with lush trees, concrete stairways, and charming wood fences. And although the gardens trees give a whimsical overgrown look. The lawns are always well manicured, so you can explore the grounds.
You deserve family photos that show exactly where you are in life at this moment, and Bleak House is a wonderful options for capturing those moments. If you are excited to capture your family photos, reach out! I may be a Gatlinburg photographer, but I sure do love making my way to Knoxville for this location!
