Gatlinburg Elopement Guest List

You deserve your elopement to be the greatest day of your life. And with that, a lot of couples want to invite friends and family to tag along! As a Gatlinburg photographer I have seen the difference guests make at a wedding. So if you decide that you do want to invite your favorite people to your elopement, then here is the best way to form your elopement guest list.

The Best of The Best

The first step is to decide who is in your top tier. These are the people who know and love you best. And in a more traditional wedding, they would probably be in your bridal party. Often times this is your immediate family and closest friends. In addition, these are the people you picture in the front row of your ceremony and won’t want to miss a thing!

After deciding who is the best of the best, begin to consider how large you want your elopement to be. If you want very few guests and a more intimate ceremony, then stop here! But if you are looking to expand your guest guest, then read on!

Family

Next, let’s consider your families! Gather the names of your immediate family, as well as your favorite extended family members. You do not need to invite every member of your families, but having those who you are the closest with will make your day that much more special. So in addition to your immediate family, consider inviting your grandparents and other influential extended family members!

Friends

Now, if you are really wanting a party, then consider all of your friends! For a more intimate wedding only invite your closest friends at the moment. The people who you are interacting with most often and have the best relationships with outside of your family.

While you elope to Gatlinburg remember that you do not have to invite everyone. After all, you are eloping! So it should be spent with the people who mean the most to you - or even just the two of you! And if you are planning a destination elopement, then I advise to keep it small and intimate!

Planning your wedding and learning how to form a wedding guest list should be made simple! And you deserve a Gatlinburg photographer who is there to help you along the way. Reach out and let’s chat!
