As the school year begins and the weather cools, you may just get the itch to take fall senior pictures. And there is no better place than in the Smoky Mountains! In my time photographing as a Gatlinburg Photographer I have focused on families and elopements. However, capturing seniors is always such a treat! Especially with the stunning backdrops that the Foothills Parkway has to offer!

Why Have Fall Senior Pictures

Some seniors choose to wait until the spring for their senior photos. But let me tell you why you want to take your photos in the fall! In the Spring you will have A LOT going on between the end of the year dances, senior trips, finals, and possibly finding a job or packing to move. In addition, you will have Graduation, where a lot of pictures will be taken. And you may even decide to have a senior session for your graduation pictures with your cap and gown.

By taking your senior pictures in the fall you will be able to look back at who your were at the beginning of senior year, and compare it to graduation photos. Your growth between the beginning of senior year and graduation will be insane! Let’s document it!!

I may be a little bias, but I truly believe there is no better place to capture any life event than in the Smokies. And of all the beautiful locations, the Foothills Parkway may just be my favorite!

In the Foothills you will have a wide variety of backdrops to choose from. This not only allows you to choose a backdrop that fits the look you are going for in your senior session. But it also will give you a lot of variety in your gallery! Pose on an outlook, walk through the woods, racing down the parkway, or take a seat on the stone wall that looks over the Smokies.
