Gatlinburg Wedding Airbnb

I have been to a lot of different cabins in Gatlinburg for events and weddings through the years. And as a Gatlinburg photographer there are a few features that I appreciate when it comes to a Gatlinburg Wedding Airbnb. The view, the lighting, and the architecture, just to name a few. Luckily Caitlin and Kevin scored when they booked Kindred Spirits Cabin for their elopement! Having all of those features and more, made it the perfect cabin for an elopement.

Caitlin & Kevin

This darling couple met their senior year of high school through a mutual friend at a bonfire. They stayed friends for a long time before dating, making their relationship feel easy. Though the relationship felt natural and easy, the couple had some hard decisions to make. After Caitlin graduated college, the couple decided to move 600+ miles away from their home state and families. Their dreams were too big for their home town, as they wanted land to build and grow together. This time was special for their love story as they came closer together through achievements, communication and hard work.

Caitlin and Kevin love to spend time together in the outdoors, hosting BBQs and having movie nights on their patio. They are so lowkey and lighthearted. Making their elopement so much fun! Kevin even thought it would be funny to have a few pictures with the couples in their muck boots to show that part of their lives. But ultimately we decided to emphasize the beauty of the views and the nature that they love so much!

Where do I even begin with Kindred Spirits Cabin?! Let me tell you, I was IMPRESSED. First of all, the home is beautiful and has so many fun and romantic amenities like a hot tub, massage chair, and a walk in shower with a heater (talk about luxury!). But even greater than the features, is the view. You are literally on top of the world here, and are able to see over the Smokies for miles. And because it is located in a woodland area with few neighboring cabins you will have complete privacy while not feeling completed isolated. All of this gives you a serene and beautiful stay, and in Caitlin and Kevin’s case, a stunning elopement!

First Look

Caitlin and Kevin wanted to have a first look before their elopement, so I had to make it happen! A lot of the times, couples who are eloping don’t think to have a first look since they aren’t having a formal wedding. However, that first moment of a groom seeing his bride as a bride. That is so meaningful and special, whether you have a large formal wedding or an intimate elopement. You deserve to have it documented.

Ceremony

The ceremony for this elopement was unmatched! Caitlin had mentioned envisioning her ceremony with a beautiful view, around sunset and in their favorite place. That is exactly what they got! The couple had their Gatlinburg elopement ceremony on the back deck of their wedding cabin Airbnb before sunset. The sky had a bright glow to it which made the Smoky Mountains look more dimensional in the glowing fog. It was the perfect backdrop for such an intimate and special moment.
