Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel
Picture this: a homey chapel with intricate stained glass, a rushing river, and the most romantic ceremony. We got to do it all with Lauren and Chase as they got married in a small, intimate Gatlinburg wedding chapel. I’m telling you, photographers in Gatlinburg, TN have the best job ever! Let me share some highlights of this beautiful event.
A Winter Elopement
First, I think winter is underrated as a wedding season. Venue prices go down and tourists disappear. Winter light is gorgeous in photos, the outdoors are full of great contrast, and the whole season feels especially romantic. I could go on! If you’re on the fence about a winter elopement, I think you should take the leap.
Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel
Every couple is different. For couples that are really hoping to keep their ceremony small, just between family and a few friends, this Gatlinburg wedding chapel was just the right fit. The exterior was charming, with a tiny lantern and this covered entryway. The chapel even features a little blue door—the “something blue” that every bride needs for a lucky wedding.
The chapel had just six pews, but it was beautifully decorated in warm wood tones and ivy. Arched windows brought in a lot of light for the guests. Overall, the cozy intimacy of this cabin made it the perfect choice for a winter elopement.
Bridal Shoot at Greenbrier
After the ceremony and family photos, we were able to get some more portraits with Lauren and Chase in their bridal shoot. Their wedding attire complemented beautifully with this river and dancing falls, and I loved pairing Lauren’s natural wildflowers against the silver stone.
We headed up a nearby trail for a few final shots, and of course, we had to get a twirl in that beautiful dress.
Congratulations again to Lauren and Chase on their elopement; I was so glad to be a part of it! Photographers in Gatlinburg TN are so excited to help with your winter weddings! Don’t hesitate to reach out and get your name on the books!
