Gatlinburg Winter Wedding
This past winter was a warmer winter for Tennessee, so there wasn’t any snow, but it was still beautiful. And the warmer temperatures made it perfect weather for exploring during a bridal session. We had so much fun with Hannah and Nash for their Gatlinburg winter wedding! As a Gatlinburg photographer, I am so excited to share the highlights of this session with you.
Great Spots for a Gatlinburg Winter Wedding
Hannah and Nash tied the knots in the foothills, and we went into the woods off the parkway for their pictures. The foothills here are, as you guys know, my favorite spot for romantic photos like bridals. Even in winter, the trees provide a green magic to photos, and it wasn’t too hard to find a wintery river to add some texture.
On the parkway, we enjoyed winter’s gift of a bunch of crunchy leaves. They were a great prop for some bridal twirls!
A Winter Bouquet
I have to highlight Hannah’s bouquet because I thought it was so great for a Gatlinburg winter wedding. Red berries and white roses stood out among the pine needles, lamb’s ears, and snow-covered pine cones. The whole bouquet was wrapped in green ribbon, which carried a special charm: a tribute to Hannah’s mom.
Dreamy Sunset Bridals
I talk about the perks of golden hour a ton—but this was really a magic moment in my work as a Gatlinburg photographer! When the sun started to set on our bridal session, the light turned to liquid gold for Hannah and Nash, and these winter photos are straight from a magazine. They look so happy together! I think this sunset was a sign that this couple is truly meant to be.
It was a joy to work with Hannah and Nash on their Gatlinburg winter wedding photos! I would love to be able to do more amazing shoots like this one, and really preserve the magic moments from your marriage. If you’re ready to book a session with a Gatlinburg photographer, please reach out!
