The first perk I wanted to mention is that renting an Airbnb can really give you more space than a traditional venue. Depending on where you rent, you’re looking at multiple rooms and gathering spaces—which work wonders for your getting-ready portraits! With Holly and Craig, we had tons of room for morning preparation and hosting for the guests. And no wasted travel time for anyone on wedding day!
Easy Options for Ceremony Decor
The right cabin is, of course, going to have a ton of charming decor, but if you’re looking for a little personalization, an Airbnb might be a great choice. Most of the time, you can put up your own decorations, like a wedding arch or floral arrangements, for no extra fee. Simple set up, just make sure to pack it out when you leave.
Perfect Views
Holly and Craig’s Airbnb had tons of memorable settings, but one I really loved was the back porch, which opened up into a beautiful view of our blue mountains! We ended our photo session on just the right note; this porch gave us a location that felt exciting and homey at the same time. (And we could add in their dogs! So cute!)
A Honeymoon and Wedding All in One
The last thing to mention is that an Airbnb Gatlinburg wedding cabin can really save you costs on your honeymoon! Oftentimes, these venues are outfitted with private suites and full kitchens, and many of them offer luxuries as well: hot tubs, pools, proximity to hiking or other activities, etc.! This one in particular had a great gathering area with a fire pit, which would be perfect for sharing a romantic evening after your guests have said goodbye.
