Smoky Mountain Foothills Parkway Family Session
Documenting your extended family may be a little tricky when you all live far apart and have lives of your own. However, in years from now you will want to look back on the the moments that you were all together. That is exactly why Wendy chose to have a Smoky Mountain Foothills Parkway family session! With her parents, sister and all the grandkids in one place she knew she had to take advantage of this rare occurrence and capture it all.
Multi-generation Family Photos
With multiple generations, you get many personalities! In this family session we had four generations making the overall experience so much fun. Wendy really wanted these photos to be centered around her parents, so I was sure to capture them with every generation.
When it comes to working with multiple generations, I typically find more limitations. For example, before our session in a questionnaire Wendy let me know that her parents wouldn’t be able to sit on the ground or do much hiking. As a Smoky Mountain family photographer I work with your needs so that you have an enjoyable experience and receive gorgeous photos. I chose an easy to access location with stunning views. As well as posed their family in ways that would be most comfortable for every generation!
Why Foothills Parkway
While inquiring, Wendy mentioned that as a photographer herself she really liked my style of photography for the colorful style and type of posing she saw on my Instagram. This was something that I wanted to make sure she received in her gallery, so I chose Smoky Mountain’s Foothills Parkway. This specific spot has a range of colors naturally. With brighter greens on the overlook itself, and softer colors as the mountains become more distant. This also contribute to the depth in the family photos, making their gallery so much more interesting and even elegant!
This Smoky Mountain, Foothills Parkway family session was such a blast to be a part of! I love that I got to capture so many generations and honor Wendy’s parents legacy. Are you ready to document your extended family? Reach out and let’s do this thing!
