Why Have a Gatlinburg Elopement First Look

Is A First Look For You? In short, yes! First looks are something that I truly believe every couple can enjoy. Even my couples who are eloping to Gatlinburg! Although elopements aren’t as traditional as a larger celebration, you can still have those intimate moments. And seeing your person for the first time before the ceremony, is such a special moment to share together. If you aren’t convinced yet, here are a few things to consider when deciding on a first look.

Intimate Moment

The best part about eloping is how intimate the experience is. Typically when I captures a Gatlinburg elopement it is a small group of family and friends, or just the bride and groom. This gives you a more private and quiet ceremony, allowing you to focus on what matters most. Without having to worry about all the details that come along with a large wedding.

One of my favorite moments is right after the first look. The initial excitement dies down a bit and a feeling of intimacy and gratitude drapes over the bride and groom. Really preparing you for the sacredness of your ceremony. The love you have for each other becomes even more real than before! And the best part is that you get to take in this moment, just the two of you, with all of your love. . . and me, capturing it all so you will never forget!

Express Yourself!

As a Gatlinburg photographer I live for the emotional moments that I get to capture for you to enjoy for decades to come! But sometimes those beautiful moments need a little planning. Creating a moment to express yourself and embrace each other is exactly what a first look is for!

When you are walking down the aisle there isn’t really much your groom gets to say to you in that moment. And you don’t really get to say much to him. You will more than likely have a million different thoughts to share with your other half. And getting to hear them right then and there when it all fresh in your mind is an amazing experience to share. When having a non-traditional first look before your ceremony you get to hear it all!

No More Nerves

Even when you plan to have a Gatlinburg elopement, you can feel the same nerves as a traditional wedding day. But by having a first look, you can say goodbye to those nerves as you connect together. Seeing your soon-to-be-spouse can really calm and ground you. This way you can go about the rest of the day with a more level head, and enjoy everything to the fullest.

First looks are by far some of the most special moments I see during weddings . And I hope that if you decide to have one, that you enjoy it as much as I enjoy capturing them. Ready to capture your Gatlinburg elopement? Reach out and let’s chat!
