Foothills Parkway Wedding

One of the best places to get married in the Smoky Mountains has to be Foothills Parkway. You will fall in love with the scenic views, serene atmosphere and long winding roads. As a Smoky Mountain wedding photographer I adore any chance I get to visit this part of the park. So, when Morgan and Jordan came to me for their Foothills Parkway Wedding I was over the moon, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Morgan & Jordan

I love getting to know my couples, and Morgan and Jordan were so much fun to work with! They are introverted, laid back, and adventurous. Trying new restaurants, shopping and hiking are just a few of the things they love to do together. Although they are super fun and playful with each other, they also wanted deep and intimate photos.

I always ask my couples a series of questions before their big day in a questionnaire. And the way that Morgan and Jordan answered the following question shows so much of their personality and values. I ask, “How do you want to feel when you look back at these photos in 20 years?”, and their answer was, “Damn, my parents really love each other. -future children”. I am so grateful that I got to photograph the beginning of their legacy, so that generations can look back at their love story.

Foothills Parkway Wedding

Having a Foothills Parkway Wedding may just be the best decision you make while planning. With 71 miles of parkway to work with, you are sure to find a quiet spot to capture your wedding photos. In addition, some of the best mountain views in the Smokies are from the Foothills Parkway!

During Morgan and Jordan’s wedding day we had a beautiful overcast, offering soft light through the clouds. As well, the mist from the Smoky Mountains gave a magical feeling as it floated through the hills and mountain tops. As a result their gallery gave a down to earth and moody vibe, which they were drawn to when they found me on Google.

Adventure Hike

Getting out into the mountains is half the fun of a Smoky Mountain photo shoot! So I was thrilled with Morgan and Jordan were down to do a small hike through the woods to a waterfall. This location added variety to their gallery, as well as created a time during the session to make lasting memories.

When I photograph your wedding I want to provide more than just pretty pictures. As a Smoky Mountain wedding photographer I am focused on you and your experience. That is why I take the time to get to know you as a couple! So that I can capture your love in the most genuine way possible.

I was absolutely honored to be part of Morgan and Jordan’s wedding day. There session was a dream! And I can’t wait for their future kids to look back on their wedding photos and say, "“Damn, my parents really love each other.”
