Anakeesta Wedding In Gatlinburg

I really get to do it all as a Gatlinburg photographer. But this, this was a first even for me! An Anakeesta Wedding was something that I never imagined I would get to capture, but I am so glad I did. And honestly, I wish more couples would celebrate their elopement with such an exciting adventure, and let me tag along for once in a lifetime photos!

Ceremony

My couple opted to have a ceremony in the Great Smoky Mountains at Ely’s Mill. Which is a wonderful choice in and of itself! I personally love this wooded location and recommend it to many of my couples who are wanting an intimate wedding with up to 20 guests. However, you can actually have a ceremony at Anakeesta! Which I think we should talk more about!

An Anakeesta wedding offers two different exclusively ceremony locations, Heart Twigloo and Vista Plaza. For a smaller party consider Heart Twigloo, as it accommodates 10 guests and a stunning view of rolling hills and mountains of lush greenery. Vista Plaza is for up to 50 guests and is situated on a more elevated location so you can see over the mountains and into the valleys a bit more. Anakeesta Wedding

After their jaw dropping bridal session in the Smokies, my couple and I went over to Anakeesta for one of a kind wedding photos. From riding a sky lift through the woods, to finding fun Halloween displays. I captured it all! I really enjoyed the many trail like paths with different features to capture multiple backdrops for my couple. As the sunset over the mountains, dusk kept up while walking through a garden and night fell over a waterfall. We were able to get a beautiful variety for their Anakeesta wedding photos.

In addition to just having photos taken at Anakeesta, you can plan an epic experience to kick off your honeymoon! There are so many recreations to take part in such as the Smoky Mountain observation tower, ziplining, a skywalk, and so much more. Not to mention, the many dining experiences, fun shops, and trails to explore.
