Ely's Mill Elopement

Ely’s Mill is a key part of Gatlinburg history, but it’s also a relaxing getaway location celebrating the beauty of our Smoky Mountains. If your dream elopement is secluded, intimate, and personal, you’ll love the quiet woods and rushing creek of Ely’s Mill. As a Gatlinburg elopement photographer, I know my way around the Mill, so let me share some of its perks with you!

Location of Ely’s Mill

Twenty-five untouched acres of creeks and trails wait for you at Ely’s Mill. Originally constructed in the 1920s, it's still a family-owned property in Old Gatlinburg, on the east side up Roaring Fork Road. This area is covered with greenery, and dappled sunlight shines through the trees. It’s really gorgeous in every season.

Amenities Offered at an Ely’s Mill Elopement

An Ely’s Mill elopement is a relaxed option for those who love the outdoors. Your event can be held at the outdoor pavilion, which has electricity and lighting. They’ll also provide tables and chairs, as well as use of their barn and restrooms.

But if you’re planning an elopement getaway, Ely’s Mill also maintains two comfortable cabins that are the perfect accommodations for up to 12 people. Each cabin is rustic and well-furnished, but make sure to book ahead of time!

Unique Spaces for your Ely’s Mill Elopement

You’re going to love the variety of spaces for your Ely’s Mill elopement. Of course, the main pavilion, which is done up in twinkle lights, right in view of the waterfall! But there are vintage cars, trucks, and farm equipment which are so fun for photos, and the mill itself. Plus, trails and lush foliage surround the property provide even more unique locations for your elopement photography.
