Family Photo With Grandparents
When a super tight-knit family has a trip together into the Smokies, just like they did as kids, it means one thing. It’s time to get pictures with everyone together! This is what Heidi and her siblings did when they all got together with their parents and kids in the mountains. They understand that one of the best gifts you can give your parents and kids is a family photo with grandparents. These photos will preserve this sweet time in your family’s lives and be adored for years to come.
Timeless & Natural
When capturing your entire extended family, it is important to choose a Gatlinburg family photographer that fits everyone’s style. After all, these photos will be hanging in everyone’s homes for the next several years! I recommend choosing a photographer who has a timeless and natural style, and stays true to color.
Location
This shoot with Heidi and her extended family included a lot of kids, ranging in age from 11 years old to just 1 year old. With so many children, all in such different stages, we knew the challenge would be keeping everyone entertained and happy. Luckily, the ratio of children to adults was pretty good! In addition, we chose a location that was easy to access, safe for running around and had a gorgeous backdrop. This is why the Foothills Parkway is such a stellar location for family photos!
Family Photo With Grandparents
I definitely prioritize getting a family photo with grandparents in shoots like this. Having the entire extended family together in a few shots, having all the grandchildren together with the grandparents, as well as the grandparents with their adult children. These are photos that will hang in the grandparents homes forever, as well as becoming the sweetest sentiment to everyone in the family.
Getting a family photo with grandparents and the entire extended family is a rarity and so special. If you are headed to the Smokies, be sure to reach out and get on my schedule!
