And whether you plan to have a larger celebration, or intimate ceremony in the mountains, you need a bride bag! A bride bag has all the essential for your wedding day, so that you look put together and photo ready at all times.
Bride Bag Tips
A bridal bag of goodness is a must have for your big day, especially in case of emergencies that are sure to happen! I’ve been to 100s of weddings and something always goes sideways. Sometimes it is as simple as having extra bobby pins for your hair. And other times you will need a strong stain remover for your dress. Here are all my must have items to have in your bride bag!
Personal Hygiene
Personal hygiene items are a must on your wedding day! Especially since you are more than likely to be spending time adventuring through Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains! Deodorant, wipes, perfume, dry shampoo, bobby pins, extra makeup, eyelash glue and an extra set of lashes. These will come in handy throughout the day, especially if we go an a quick hike for adventurous bridals. Or you get a bit emotional during the many tender moment of the day.
For Your Dress
The most important item to carry for your wedding dress is a stain remover. You never know when something may spill on your dress, or if you will accidentally smudge you makeup on your gown. A stain stick will fit perfectly in a small bride bag and will be so helpful if needed!
If your wedding dress has a button back, then make sure you have a crochet hook for the buttons on your dress! This will save you so much time when getting dressed.
Snacks
So many brides forget to eat on their wedding day, and I totally understand. After all, there is a lot going on and so much to take in! I recommend bringing some type of protein bar for sustainable energy as well as a water bottle. In addition, I know some brides bring 5 hour energy shots for an extra boost of energy. While other brides bring mints to keep their breathe fresh!
Pharmaceuticals
There are so many magical reasons to be married in Gatlinburg. From the scenic drives, stunning views and wonderful destinations. It is all truly magnificent! However, with so much time outdoors in the mountains you may consider bringing some allergy medicine just in case! In addition, bring pain relievers as you will be on your feet and adventuring quite a bit!
